Bay Area Democrats (BAD) is a Democratic political action committee dedicated to increasing policy and financial support by Bay Area residents for national Democrats. We serve members in the nine Bay Area counties who want to stay involved in Democratic politics and support candidates in a meaningful way.

Over the last decade in the Bay Area, the number of Democrats interested in participating in national politics has grown dramatically.

With the 2012 election cycle right around the corner, BAD is focused on organizing our membership to support President Obama in his re-election campaign and Democratic Congressional candidates across the country. By maintaining an active and engaged Board of Directors and cultivating our grassroots membership, we hope to keep the issues at the forefront while helping to raise much needed funds for federal candidates.
